Ticket Booth AttendantJOB I.D. # 72267Modesto On Ice, Modesto's first outdoor, seasonal ice-skating rink, is returning for its 8th season!We are looking for enthusiastic, energetic, customer-oriented people for part-time, temporary employment who want to join our Modesto On Ice team for the busy holiday season from November 18, 2023 through Monday, January 15, 2024.Job Responsibilities:
- Interacting with customers both in person and over the phone, providing excellent customer service
- Greeting customers and communicating rink event information
- Processing transactions for the purchase of skate sessions and miscellaneous services and products
- Processing credit card and cash payment transactions
- Accurately counting down cash and maintaining cash drawer balance
Minimum Requirements:
- Able to work up to 30 hours per week
- Able to count change and dispense receipts
- Able to work a variety of shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Have reliable transportation
- Have previous customer service experience
- Able to calmly, quickly and efficiently multitask in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
- Be punctual, neat and outgoing
- Able to assist with maintaining a clean venue and work with others as a team to get tasks completed
- Able to work independently
- Able to work in cold temperatures due to the outdoor nature of the rink
- Able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Professional appearance, excellent communication and customer service skills are essential
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus
