Position Summary/Objective:The Ticketing Manager leads and manages the day-to-day operations for the PBR's Ticketing department, ensuring efficient processes and exceptional customer experiences. Reporting to the Director of Ticketing, this role requires a proactive and energetic individual with demonstrated expertise in box office and ticketing operationsEssential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the operations of the PBR's Ticketing Department, with a focus on maximizing ticket revenue and profitability, improving B2C and B2B ticketing experiences, and implementing efficient ticketing processes and procedures.
- Oversee all internal ticketing operations, including management of ticketing software, event builds, custom reporting, dynamic pricing strategies, PBRewards, consignment ticket sales, and fulfillment of rider/sponsor obligations.
- Collaborate with the Director of Ticketing on financials and settlements with venue box offices, ensuring accurate accounting and reporting.
- Drive proactive initiatives to promote positive change within the ticketing business, adapting to industry trends and consumer demands.
- Foster strong collaboration and cooperation with internal stakeholders to achieve departmental goals and objectives.
- Ensure delivery of exceptional customer service, maintaining a high standard of consumer satisfaction across all PBR events.
- Monitor and report on complimentary ticket allocation and usage for all events, optimizing distribution strategies.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- In-depth knowledge of box office practices and procedures, preferably with experience using Ticketmaster or Archtics systems.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey information to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software applications.
- Ability to maintain records timely and accurately.
- Flexible and adaptable to change.
Education & Formal Training:
- Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Compensation:
- $$45,000-$55,000 base salary + 10% annual bonus eligibility
