POSITION SUMMARY Be a leader in the Ticket Office! Requirements include: college degree or equivalent experience in the ski/service industry, two (2) years of customer service experience, excellent computer skills and a drive to have FUN at work! Resume required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES
  • Responsible for daily operations of our Ticketing locations Main Ticket Office and Mountain Camp.
  • Responsible for handling all guest service issues as related to refunds, quality of experiences, department policies, and reservations processes
  • Responsible for working with the hiring team to coordinate, hire, train, schedule and supervise all staff for both ticketing locations.
  • Assist frontline staff with guests and transactions
  • Develop and maintain both department and company policies
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily programs and procedures at our Ticketing locations with Finance, Central Reservations and other departments
  • Overseeing all sales, accounting and reservation reports for office operations on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • 4 years in a customer service position -and- at least 2 years experience working with RTP
  • Supervisory/Management Experience preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications(Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Excellent organizational, guest service and detail skills required
  • Diplomatic, professional self-starter who can make sound decisions, frequently, under pressure
  • Bookkeeping or accounting background preferred
  • Experience in creating, developing and implementing new projects based on company policy
  • Desire to have a fun workplace while meeting and exceeding company and department goals
  • Ability to adhere to all safety policies

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent requiredCollege Degree preferred or equivalent in experience within ski industry or service based business
The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term and long-term incentives and many region-specific benefits. Steamboat area base hourly pay range: $26.00 - $29.00 per hour PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be able to stand or sit for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in English in person, professionally in writing and on the phone
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to walk, talk, see, hear, and operate a computer and other office productivity machinery
