Job Description:
Tier 2 Help Desk Technician Our client, one of the world's largest Credit Union's, is looking to add a Help Desk (Tier 2) to join their team onsite in Vienna, VA.
  • Fully onsite in Vienna, VA
  • This is a W2 Contract we can't do C2C arrangements. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without a sponsoring employer indefinitely. At this time we can only accept the following: US Citizens, GC Holder, GC EAD, or TN Visas.
Responsibilities
  • Perform Tier 1 and Tier 2 diagnostics and troubleshooting for hardware and software issues.
  • Provide support for PC, Laptop, and Thin Client devices.
  • Accurately document operating procedures and maintain detailed ticket notations.
  • Utilize ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing systems to track and resolve IT support requests.
  • Manage asset inventory, including scanning, updating, tracking, collection, and ensuring accurate availability of equipment.
  • Execute employee moves by performing equipment teardown, installation, and cable management.
  • Maintain effective organization and time management to meet deadlines and priorities.
  • Work independently or collaboratively in a large group setting as needed.
Requirements
  • Must be able to work fulltime onsite in Vienna, VA (this is NOT a remote job)

  • Tier 1 or Tier 2 diagnostics and troubleshooting experience with hardware and software.
  • Familiarity with PC, Laptop, and Thin Client devices
  • Experience in document operating procedures and adept ticket notation ability
  • Experience with ServiceNow or equivalent ticketing system
  • Experience with Asset Management & Inventory Control - Scanning, updating, tracking, collection, and overall management of assets to ensure accuracy and availability of equipment.
  • Perform employee moves to include equipment tear-downs, installs, and cable management.
  • Ability to work independently and in a large group setting
  • Effective organizational, planning, and time management
