TIER II ENGINEER SUPPORT - SYSTEM ENGINEER PRINCIPAL
ROLEKaimetrix is seeking a skilled and experienced Tier II Support - Systems Engineer Principal to join our team at Fort Eisenhower, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems engineering and possess the necessary certifications and security clearances. This role requires a professional with a BA/BS or higher in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering, and 5-8 years of relevant experience. The candidate must also hold a current TS//SCI with CI Poly.We will support INSCOM's mission by delivering products and services that enhance readiness and sustain Soldiers, Civilians, systems, and facilities. Key support activities include Program/Project Management, Network Engineering, Data Visualization, Cloud Engineering, System/Program Administration, Operations Research/Systems Analysis, Data Platform Analysis, System Evaluation, Test/Data Engineering, Full Stack/System/DevOps Engineering, System Engineering, and Distributed Processing, and Exploitation and Dissemination - Converged Infrastructure (DPED-CI).
RESPONSIBILITIES- Technical Support and Troubleshooting:
- Provide Tier II support, including advanced troubleshooting and resolution of complex technical issues.
- Collaborate with Tier I support to escalate and resolve issues that require higher-level expertise.
- System Maintenance and Optimization:
- Oversee the maintenance, optimization, and performance tuning of systems and networks.
- Ensure systems are operating efficiently and securely, adhering to best practices and organizational standards.
- Security and Compliance:
- Maintain and enforce security protocols and compliance with DoD standards.
- Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary improvements to safeguard systems.
- Technical Expertise:
- Utilize advanced technical knowledge to support and improve system operations.
- Stay current with the latest technologies, trends, and industry best practices to enhance system performance.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, processes, and support activities.
- Prepare and deliver detailed reports on system performance, security status, and support activities to senior management.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS - 5-8 years of experience in systems engineering or a related discipline.
- Offerings listed in DoD 8140 Training Repository (Intermediate), Qualification Code 451.
- A+ or CND or Network+ or Security+.
EDUCATION- BA/BS or higher in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, or Engineering.
LOCATIONCLEARANCE- U.S. citizenship is required since this role supports the U.S. Federal government
