We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable individual to join our team as a Parts Counterperson at our Timbrook Collision Center dealership. As a vital member of our automotive parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and efficiently handling parts inquiries and sales.Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Assist customers in identifying and locating the correct automotive parts for their vehicles.
- Provide accurate pricing and availability information for parts.
- Process parts orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain inventory levels and organize parts on shelves.
- Handle returns and exchanges in accordance with company policies.
- Utilize computer systems and software to look up parts and process transactions.
- Communicate effectively with other team members and departments.
- Keep the parts counter area clean, organized, and presentable.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Previous experience in an automotive parts or retail sales role is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their functions is a plus.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
- Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including familiarity with parts lookup software.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
