CASIO AMERICA, INC. has a fantastic opportunity available in our G-Shock store in SOHO, NYC for a full-time Timepiece Specialist/Ambassador. This position assists the Store Manager and sales staff in sales generation, operations, and personnel functions of the store to ensure maximum profitability and compliance with Company procedures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
* Achieve store sales goals to meet each fiscal half sales target.
* Support Store Manager in the achievement of all financial and or operational objectives with regards to expense control and reporting.
* Maintain adequate sales floor supervision.
* Monitor staff in product knowledge, customer service policies.
* Drive and develop regular training sessions with all store staff.
* Assist in supervising and motivating staff to meet goals.
* Assist in the resolution of employee questions and problems.
* Maintain Company merchandising standards.
* Communicates with Store Manager and/or home office point-of-contact regarding product mix, trends and needs.
* Assist in the inventory and maintenance of inventory records.
* Nurture existing customer base and reach new prospects through networking and outreach.
* Assist with calendar creation for the store's Instagram account.
* Assist with development of a marketing ideas and calendar for 2nd floor gallery.
* Enforce company cash handling and loss prevention procedures.
* Maintain store fund and monitor deposits in accordance with company policies.
* Promptly and accurately complete all paperwork procedures (New hire, Incident, Reports, etc.)
* Maintain standards of cleanliness and organization.
* All other duties as may be assigned by other members of management.
MINIMUM EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
* 2 years of prior experience in the watch industry preferably luxury retail required..
* Flexible to retail working hours.
* Demonstrated ability to learn a technical product strongly preferred
* Bilingual a plus.
