Gather input and from TIPS stakeholders for development needs of the organization's ERP software solution.
* Communicate business needs to contracted developers of the
ERP solution.
* Provide project management to support budgetary and timeline
goals for development of the ERP solution through an iterative
software development approach such as Spiral Software
Development
* Identify and mitigate software bugs for ERP solution by working
with contracted developers
* Recommend cost-effective solutions to TIPS senior management
for ERP solution development, coding, and monitoring
* Ensure availability of necessary reporting and data analytics
capabilities required by TIPS senior management
* Coordinate training for end users as necessary for TIPS software
platforms
* Consult with Region 8 ESC Director of Technology Services to
address specific information security requirements, Business
Continuity Planning (BCP), Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)
* Coordinate and implement a technology change control process
to inform stakeholders of system updates and outagesThis is an at-will employment position.
* In the event of an economic slump, a reduction-in-force may be
necessary. Employees will be notified in writing.
Up to 226 working daysProcess all personal timekeeping, travel reporting and other
paperwork in a timely manner.
* Maintain professional attire and grooming appropriate for specific
job position.
* Demonstrate punctual and regular attendance on the job.
* Report for work ready to perform responsibilities.
* Support the mission, goals, and objectives of the ESC.
* Uphold and adheres to safety rules and policies of the ESC.
* Perform professional responsibilities as required by ESC policies,
processes, and procedures.
* Meet proficiency levels of required technology skills as outlined
by supervisor.
* Incorporate appropriate technology in daily work and exhibits
continual growth in technologies as outlined by supervisor.
* Exhibit professionalism in all situations at the ESC.
* Other duties as assigned by the Director of Technology ServicesBachelor's degree or Associates degree in Computer Science or Business + networking and/or hardware industry certifications such as Microsoft, Comp TIA, or similar
* Experience working with cloud-based data platforms for analytics
such as Power Bl or QuickSight
* Working knowledge and experience with SQL
* Working knowledge of scripting languages such as JS, Ruby,
Python
* Working knowledge and experience working with AWS PaaS and
a VPC environment
* Experience in working with multiple clients and supervisors
* Recommended by ESC Executive Director
* Any acceptable variations of the above as approved by the board
of directors
