To learn more visit www.techprofgroup.com.Make a difference as a Tire TechnicianAs a new Tire Technician, you can expect to inspect, repair, and replace tires regularly to ensure optimal performance. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of tire services and inventory levels. Additionally, you will collaborate with the engineering team to contribute to ongoing improvement projects in the tire room. Your schedule will be on the 1st Shift from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., with a 30-minute lunch break. This consistent schedule allows for work-life balance and predictable hours. Join our team and experience the satisfaction of making a difference in the safety and performance of vehicles every day.What you need to be successfulTo excel as a Tire Technician, you must demonstrate proficiency in safely mounting and dismounting test tires on various vehicles. You will need to operate motor vehicles, including commercial trucks and forklifts, after receiving on-site training. The role demands physical strength to handle wheel assemblies of all sizes and weights, including tires weighing up to 487 lbs. A solid grasp of tire and wheel assembly design, effective communication skills, basic computer knowledge, independence in work, attention to detail, strong time management, manual dexterity, and precision control are essential for success in this position.   • Primarily are responsible for the safe and proper mounting and dismounting of test tires used on test vehicles.
  • Must be able to safely maneuver and operate all required motor vehicles assigned to this job function
  • which may include automobiles

  • product transport type vehicles
  • i.e. forklifts. These requirements may require on-site training furnished by the Client.
  • Must have the physical and mental agility to handle all sizes and weights of wheel assemblies and to be able to handle tools required to mount and dismount wheel assemblies safely.
  • Ability to push and pull heavier tires with equipment (i.e.
  • tractor-trailer commercial tires weighing up to 487 lbs.).Must have a solid technical understanding of tire and wheel assembly design and construction.
  • Should possess strong communication skills.
  • Be proficient in the basic use of computers.
  • Must be able to work independently with little supervision.
  • Be detail-oriented and manage time well.
  • Manual dexterity and control precision.
