With the help of our employee-led strategy team, we will ensure that all communities feel welcome and safe with us because we are a model for fairness, belonging, and forward thinking.Below are some of the key accountabilities/qualifications this position will hold:* The Tissue Recovery Technicians work around the clock as a team in the recovery of human tissue as a vital part of the donation process.* The Tissue Recovery Technicians will participate in the recovery, packaging, and labeling of human tissue. The recovery consists of cleaning and setting up the recovery room, surgical prep of the donor, aseptic recovery of human tissue, restoration of the donor, and decontamination of the recovery room and instruments.* Training is a combination of instructor conducted didactic wet labs, the completion of training modules, and active training.* Being a part of a team that is able to honor a donor's gift of donation is rewarding and fulfilling!The schedule for this position is 24 hour on-call shifts.
