People are the heart of every business, and we are looking for Title Agents or Specialists throughout the western United States, to support our growth and expansion in the Renewable energy, Power and Transmission sectors, with particular emphasis on title research and work. You must have extensive experience in all aspects of title research to be able to support our projects in our US Land Services Division, and have experience or live in the following regions:
- California
- Arizona
- Utah
- Nevada
- Colorado
- Idaho
- Montana
- New Mexico
- Oregon
- Washington
- Wyoming
- Nebraska
The Role These positions conduct field work in accordance with applicable laws, standards and regulations, and our own operating principles. The roles include work in all aspects of title research in the right of way industry both at the courthouse and online.
- Responsible for land title research as required by Project Manager and client
- Able to prepare documentation related to title work
- Responsible for communicating with landowners, the LandSolutions team, and project stakeholders
- Assist with office work as required by Team Lead Admin, Project Coordinator and/or management
- Regular reporting updates to Administrator, other Agents, and Project Coordinators and/or Management when required
- Respond to deadlines, changes in project areas, project scope, and assignment locations
- Must be able to record documents, and read and comprehend plot land descriptions
- Be familiar with all maps related to tracts of land
- Place a priority to protect your safety and the safety of others who may be affected by your actions or omissions
- Ensure proper use of safety equipment, clothing and devices, and participate in any required training programs
- Comply with LandSolutions policies and procedures, applicable laws
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Title Agent or Specialist particularly in title research, and document preparation, preferably in the renewables, power, transmission industries
- Knowledge of applicable acts, guides and regulations in applicable US States
- Valid driver's license
- Daily use of personal phone, computer and vehicle may be required, depending on the scope of work and role
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft including Work, Excel, MS Teams, Sharepoint is preferred
- Ability to travel and stay out of town for long durations, if required
- Rates are based on experience
