Job Description:The Title Clerk/Accounting Admin would be responsible for the processing and maintenance of vehicle titles, processing title (and tag) applications on fleet units sold, and working with customers to resolve title related problems. In addition, you will audit all new(retail & fleet) and used car deals for state and internal compliance. You must reconcile and maintain accounting schedules weekly and submit to manager. This candidate must be very detail oriented, dependable and be self-motivated. Dealership accounting background would be desired, but not required. Knowledge of Excel is helpful. We have a very cohesive office and look forward to adding to our great team.Job Responsibilities:
  • Process tag and title applications for fleet deals. Verify vehicle identification number, odometer, statements, signatures, and required certifications and attachments.
  • Submit weekly tag schedule.
  • Pull daily heat sheet and keep track of all accounting deals pushed through finance.
  • Apply and post DCI statement weekly.
  • Twice weekly compliance with salesman.
  • Keep the Leadership Team informed on the trends and employee issues that may affect a GM audit.
  • Reviewing schedules and ledgers and working with the staff to clear up any discrepancies.
  • Respond to request for information and assistance in a timely manner.
  • Manage and safeguard the stores liabilities and ensure that internal controls are in place.
Requirements:
  • Previous dealership experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office software.
  • Ability to balance large volume accounts.
  • Detail oriented skills with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Fast learner that is open to change and able to handle demanding environment
  • Ability to stay confident in high stress/high activity times.
  • Strong communication and people skills - both written and verbal.
  • Valid driver's license.
