As the Title Curative Specialist you will clear any and all defects in title within required Client SLA's, communicating any expected delays. You will communicate with clients, consumers and third parties to obtain all necessary documentation and information to resolve curative matters raised on the title commitment.As a Level II Specialist you are able to make risk assessments independently and determine if escalation is required. You are expected to know how to resolve low to mid-tier risk level curative issues autonomously. Functions include, but not limited to, ensuring proper title vesting, obtaining lien payoffs, subordinations, document preparation, deeds, and lien clearance.See Your Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview title commitments to identify and clear required issues in order to issue clear titleDue diligence and fact finding with client and consumers to remedy vesting discrepanciesObtain various documents from client, consumers, and third-party companiesConfidently and clearly communicate with consumers, clients, attorneys, and all required third parties necessary to clear title defectsBe able to make risk assessments independently and escalate when necessaryBe able to resolve low to mid-tier curative issues autonomouslyPerform other duties as assigned or apparent.See the Job SpecificationsYour Basic Education and Prior Work-Related Experience :Degree Requirement: HS Diploma or GEDWork Experience: 2 or more years of prior work-related experienceAdditional QualificationsWork across multiple curative queuesBe able to work orders in all channels including but not limited to: Originations, REO and PurchaseProfessional communication with lender clients and consumersProvide high level of client service to both centralized and distributed retail clientsCollaborate with other teams to find process improvementsMicrosoft Office SuiteProfessional verbal and written communicationBe able to work in a team environmentPreferred Education Level : Bachelor's DegreePreferred Years of Prior Work-Related Experience : Prior experience within the real estate industry and/or title and closing company required with a minimum of two years in a Title Curative or Title Claims role.See Your LocationRadian is committed to a flexible work environment for many of our roles.
