This role will focus on building, developing and maintaining strong customer relationships with key Pharmaceutical companies to aid adoption of Bio-Rad's Process Chromatography solutions during the drug development process. You'll be at the forefront of drug and vaccine development by providing innovative solutions while leveraging your knowledge of chromatography and molecule purification, interacting with influencers and decision makers found within the organization and in other cross functional areas. You'll also spearhead support activities to identify, develop, and nurture new opportunities and projects that will position Bio-Rad as a valued business partner helping clients recognize their companies goals as well as Bio-Rad's.How You'll Make An Impact:* Contribute to our mission of improving quality of life by promoting and securing adoption of Bio-Rad's Process Chromatography solutions that enable our customers to provide better treatments and patient outcomes.* Take ownership of the sales process with stategic planning , opportunity management and supporting projects from early stage development to commercialization.* This individual will work under the direction of the Associate Director of Process Chromatography to secure contracts and forecasting while coordinating with local Account Executives to ensure customer needs are met.* You will propel Bio-Rad into the future with sales goals and strategies that grow our funnel, expand our market footprint, and support our revenue targets.What You Bring:While this list of qualifications may help an employee to succeed in this position, capable candidates may have a wide range of backgrounds or skills.* Education: Bachelor Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry or Molecular Biology preferred.* Work Experience: Requires at least 5 years of successful sales experience with emphasis on large Pharma, CMO, CDMO preferred.* Established sales history and relationships with downstream process development groups in key biopharmaceutical accounts is desirable.* Strong communication skills to enable development and support of strong relationships with key accounts is a must.* Effective sales strategies and negotiation techniques are needed to proactively seek out sales opportunities and respond to the needs of the customers with innovative solutions.* Strong technical skills needed to discuss and support chromatography resins for biopharmaceutical process develop and manufacturing groups.* The ability to develop knowledge of accounts and key customers and to interpret customer's needs and identify solutions is a must.* Strong analytical skills needed to analyze territory sales data and technical information.* Requires the ability to perform both independently and as part of a team.Total Rewards Package: At Bio-Rad, we're empowered by our purpose and recognize that our employees are as well. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.
