Job Summary
Hera Title is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Title Officer / Closer to join our team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless execution of real estate transactions by providing exceptional customer service and demonstrating your expertise on every file. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the closing process, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining our commitment to client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service Excellence:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing a personalized and professional service throughout the closing process.
- Resolve client inquiries and concerns with patience, empathy, and clarity, ensuring a positive experience that fosters client trust and loyalty.
Title Examination & Closing:
- Conduct thorough examinations of title records to identify any liens, encumbrances, or defects that could affect property transactions.
- Prepare and review closing documents, ensuring all legal and company standards are met.
- Coordinate and execute closings, managing all aspects from document preparation to disbursement of funds.
Compliance & Accuracy:
- Ensure all transactions comply with federal, state, and local laws, including RESPA, TILA, and other regulatory requirements.
- Maintain meticulous attention to detail
Education & Communication:
- Educate clients about the closing process, title insurance, and related services to empower them with knowledge for their transactions.
- Work closely with real estate agents, lenders, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth transactions.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with the Hera Title team to share knowledge, improve processes, and contribute to a positive work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Title Officer or in a similar role within the title insurance or real estate industry.
- Proven track record in handling complex real estate transactions.
- Title producers license and notary certification.
Skills:
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple closings simultaneously.
- Proficient in title software. Qualia experience is a plus
