Job Description:
Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Title Processor to join our team. The Title Processor will play a critical role in ensuring that real estate transactions are completed efficiently by reviewing and preparing title documents. This individual will work closely with title officers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys to verify ownership history, process title orders, and resolve any title-related issues. Key Responsibilities:
  • Review title search reports, contracts, and loan documents for accuracy and completeness.
  • Process title insurance orders, ensuring all relevant information is documented and recorded.
  • Coordinate with clients, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys to gather necessary information for closing.
  • Identify and address title defects, liens, encumbrances, or other issues that could affect ownership.
  • Assist with the preparation of settlement statements and other closing documents.
  • Track the status of title commitments, documents, and escrow requirements.
  • Maintain thorough records and documentation in compliance with legal standards and company policies.
  • Communicate with underwriters and other parties to obtain required documentation and resolve discrepancies.
  • Provide support during the closing process, including ensuring that all conditions are met and documents are prepared accurately.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent (required). Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in title processing, real estate, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with title insurance, escrow, and real estate closing processes.
  • Knowledge of legal descriptions and the ability to read and interpret title search reports.
  • Proficiency in title processing software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills.
