This Management position will assist with daily management of Instruments complaint handling activities and support new product development initiatives. Manage a technical group responsible for complaint handling and instruments training for IVD products (Clinical Immunology and HPLC instruments).
How You'll Make An Impact:
* Lead staff and collaborate cross-functionally with the project team in the execution of new product development and support activities.
* Participate in efforts to support the development of IVD products under design control in conformance with ISO13485 or FDA 21 CFR Part 820 requirements.
* Collaborate with subject matter experts to expedite solutions and meet customer expectations.
* Actively participate in CAPA's involving product quality and/or regulatory compliance issues.
* Conduct investigations and develop mitigations and corrective actions.
* Interact with R&D, Manufacturing, Marketing, RA/QA, QE, QC and other Bio-Rad sites as needed.
* Actively participate on project teams for new products and changes to existing products.
* Responsibilities include service requirements, support strategies, servicing procedures, technical documentation, spare parts, field service training and on-site support.
* Create technical documentation including field bulletins, installation and service manuals, troubleshooting guides and videos to support the field.
* Tracking and trending on Instruments complaints and daily management activities.
* Domestic and international travel up to 10%.
What You Bring:
* Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Technical Sciences or another appropriate scientific discipline, Masters degree is preferred.
* Work Experience: 4-7 years of technical management experience.
* Experience in the in-vitro diagnostics industry is preferred.
* Demonstrated track record of managing technical groups and complex projects, and in the development and commercialization of new products in a regulated environment. Effective organizational skills and ability to coordinate work effort across a diverse and cross-functional team.
* Competency with instrument hardware, software, methods and assays.
* Strong computer and data analysis skills, including the use of statistical and bioinformatics techniques and design of experiment (DOE) required.
* Experience working in a cGMP/QSR/ISO regulated industry is desirable.

Compensation: The estimated annual salary for this position is $93,000 to $157,800 at the time of posting. This range is inclusive of all geographic locations within the United States*. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of an offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
* Minimum reflects our lowest paying locations, and the top end reflects our highest paying locations. The range in your geographic location will vary but will be within the indicated ranges.
