Some hours may be available at times when classes are not in session.As part of UCM's commitment to student health and well-being, the Title X Program Assistant will support and enhance the outreach and education efforts of the Title X initiative, overseen by the Campus Community Health (CCH) team. This position is funded by a Title X family planning grant through the Missouri Family Health Council (MFHC).The Program Assistant will assist in planning, implementing, and supporting programs and services, including but not limited to educational and promotional presentations, serving on the Title X Student Advisory Committee, and assisting with sexually transmitted infections (STI) screening events. Examples of Duties The Title X Program Assistant duties will include organizing logistics for meetings, events, and programs, including scheduling, setup, and follow-up tasks. They will maintain accurate online and paper records, handle filing tasks, and manage data entry and reporting as needed. The assistant will serve as a liaison between students and the Campus Community Health team, university offices, departments, and external community organizations. They will also maintain and organize materials and supplies related to programs and events. Additionally, the assistant may assist in coordinating and supporting special projects as assigned, while performing other duties as needed. Typical Qualifications Education
- Undergraduate or graduate student.
Experience
- Comfort discussing sexual and reproductive topics. Interest or experience in public health, sexual and reproductive health, or community engagement.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups.
- Proficiency in event planning and logistics, including scheduling, setup, and follow-up coordination.
- Reliability, proactivity, and a collaborative mindset.
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
