Objective of Position: The Design Engineer Co-op will support the Engineering staff in all aspects of the engineering systems.
Principal Responsibilities:
Details new drawings or modifies existing production drawings.Prepares Bills of Material.Completes Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) to improve safety, quality, delivery, and/or cost.Designs new parts/assemblies/systems as directed by experienced designers.Assumes additional responsibilities as assigned.Education/Experience:
Must be enrolled in a two (2) or four (4) year degree program with a drafting, design, or engineering focus.Position Qualifications:
Must have a basic knowledge of CAD systems with an emphasis on SolidWorks software. Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office software.Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills. Must possess a positive attitude and work ethic. Personal Trait Profile:
