Job Title: Tool and Die DesignerJob DescriptionThe Tool and Die Designer will be responsible for designing new tools and stamping dies using Inventor. This role includes managing the bill of materials for all designs, creating and updating detailed drawings for manufacturing, and collaborating with engineers to develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs. After finalizing the designs, they will be reviewed with customers to ensure they meet specifications and quotes. The designer will also consult with customers and the engineering team during design review meetings to address customer requirements, production issues, and timing considerations. Additionally, the role involves using measuring devices to make or modify existing tooling for both new and old jobs.
Responsibilities- Design new tools and stamping dies using Inventor.
- Manage the bill of materials for all designs.
- Create and update detailed drawings for manufacturing.
- Collaborate with engineers to develop conceptual, preliminary, and detailed designs.
- Review designs with customers to ensure they meet specifications and quotes.

Essential Skills- Experience designing tools and dies.
- Tool making experience.
- Proficiency in Inventor.
- Advanced training through an accredited program in tool and die design/engineering.

Work EnvironmentThis individual will work on a team of five within the Tool and Die team, reporting to the team lead. The work location is Plant 6, with hours from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, with some flexibility on start and end times within reason.
