Job Description:

Our client, in Rochester MN is seeking a tool and die operator to join their team. You will be part of the metal fabricaton team. The ideal candidate will have lathe and mill experience, tool sharpening, die building, and experience on a Haas machine.Job Title: Tool and Die Operator 1st shiftLocation: Rochester, MNPay Range: $21 per hour, could increase based on experienceAs a Tool and Die Operator, you will be responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of tools and dies used in manufacturing processes. Your expertise in CNC machining, tool sharpening, and die building will play a crucial role in our production operations.Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC mills, specifically Haas equipment, to create precision parts.Perform tool sharpening and maintenance to ensure optimal performance and longevity of tools.Build and modify dies, including progressive and transfer dies, according to specifications.Collaborate with engineers and production teams to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols.Document processes and maintain accurate records of production activities.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machining or related field preferred.Proven experience as a Tool and Die Operator or similar role.Proficiency in CNC programming and operation, specifically with Haas machines.Strong knowledge of tool sharpening techniques and die building processes.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.BKG/DGWhat's in it for me?Onsite TrainingTemp to Hire OpportunityWeekly PayOpportunity for AdvancementCompetitive PayIf this is a role that interests you and you'd like to learn more, click apply now and a recruiter will be in touch with you to discuss this great opportunity.
