Our client, a nationwide metals manufacturer, has an immediate need for an experienced Tool and Die Maker, to join our winning team in Endicott.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Repair and maintain production tools and dies.Must be able to trouble shoot problems at the press.Verify conformance of machined or repaired dies to specifications by checking dimensions, clearances and alignments.Interpret prints for tooling modifications, accuracy, &/or improvements. Modify dies to conform to engineering changes; conduct tryouts of new dies.Operate lift truck and overhead cranes as necessary to perform job duties.Must be team oriented and work with all employees to continuously improve quality and production.Willingness to work overtime and attend training as required.KEY REQUIREMENTS:Certified Tool & Die Maker or Relevant Experience a plusProgressive Die Experience a plusMinimum 5 Years experienceHigh School diploma or equivalentPrevious work experience in a high volume, job shop, fast paced stamping house is essential.Experience in an ISO 9001-2008 work environment is a must.Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings is a pre-requisiteMust have knowledge and experience with utilizing all types of precision measurement equipment.Excellent organization and analytical skills along with demonstrating a strong work ethic and superior technical abilities.Please apply today to be immediately considered for the role!Elgen Staffing is the fastest growing staffing agency in New Jersey.
