Position Details:• Title: Tool and Die Maker• Location: Pompano Beach, FL• Shift: Monday – Friday 8am-4:30pm• Compensation: $20-$25/hr• Benefits: Robust Benefits PackagePosition Description: Responsibilities Include:Responsible for building and repair of gauges, fixtures, tooling and dies; assembly and testing of complex tooling and dies in production departments.• Use blueprints, sketches, models, or provided specifications to plan sequences of operations for fabricating tools, dies and assemblies.• Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, by utilizing measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers and dial indicators.• Utilize machining equipment and hand tools to file, grind, adjust, fit and assemble parts to make, repair or modify dies, gauges, and tooling.• Conduct testing of completed tools or dies to ensure that parts meet specifications; adjust as necessary.• Maintain a clean and organized work area and adhere to safety and quality policies and requirements.Requirements:• Completion of formal apprenticeship program or completion of on-the-job training to meetcompany expectations.• Attention to detail & accuracy, technical capacity, and advance math skills.• Ability to read blueprints.• Collaboration, communication proficiency, and time management.
