- Operate advanced tool room machinery safely and efficiently throughout the build process.
- Perform meticulous repairs on progressive dies, manually operated dies, and various tooling.
- Expertly diagnose and troubleshoot dies on the bench, implementing precise corrections.
- Support trial runs and ensure readiness for production following die steel or tool installations.
- Enhance press room operations by servicing die sets, troubleshooting dies directly in the press, and utilizing SPC data to maintain dimensional integrity and document adjustments.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, actively participating in problem-solving teams and addressing customer and supplier concerns.
- Champion our SPECS, TQM, MOS, and Safety programs, ensuring compliance and excellence.
- Maintain impeccable housekeeping standards, contributing to a clean and organized workspace.
- Take initiative to prevent any nonconformities related to product, process, and quality systems.
- Mentor and support apprentices, sharing your expertise and guiding them in daily operations.
