The onsite pay rate for this role will be $35.05 an hr.In this role, you will maintain preventative maintenance and repairs on dies and molds in the Findlay Manufacturing Plant.Your responsibilities will includePerforms setup, calibration, maintenance, programming and operation on a variety of machining equipment including lathes,surface grinders, drill presses, milling machines, computer numerically controlled and hydraulic presses to assemble and/or fabricate parts and complex assemblies.Performs Welding (TIG, MIG, and Stick)Reads and interprets specification manuals, blueprints, templates and layouts to determine machining operation to be performedComputes dimensions and tolerances and measures and lays out work pieces.Verifies dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, gauges and micrometers Troubleshoots, debugs and modifies to achieve expected performanceParticipates in continuous improvement of cell processesCross trains in other complementary skills and seeks endorsements for those skills as needed to support production requirementsResponsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditionsFollow 5s standards and WCM, (World Class Manufacturing) methodologyCarries out other duties as assignedGood understanding of measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, height gauges,depth mics, indicators)Heat treat and temper steels per printsFollow all lock out tag out proceduresRead and follow Blueprints, Schematics and other technical documentationFabricate and weld.
