Job Title: Tool and Die MarkerJob DescriptionOur company provides enabling technologies for industrial growth markets that require advanced technology and high reliability. These markets include aerospace and defense, factory automation, air and water quality environmental monitoring, electronics design and development, oceanographic research, deepwater oil and gas exploration and production, medical imaging, and pharmaceutical research.We are looking for individuals who thrive on making an impact and want the excitement of being on a dynamic team.Analyze specifications, set up and operate machine tools to make and repair a sequence of operations such as fabricating tools, dies, jigs, or fixtures. You must have knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in the production of precision technical plans and drawings. You will follow established procedures on routine work, require minimal guidance on established procedures, and need instruction on new assignments.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Study drawings and specifications to plan operation.Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications, using measuring tools such as calipers, gauge blocks, micrometers, and dial indicators.Set up and operate conventional or computer numerically controlled machine tools.Fit and assemble parts to make and repair parts per specification.Conduct test runs with tools to ensure parts meet specifications, making adjustments as necessary.Verify conformance of finished products to specifications.Handle problems with moderate complexity; perform basic troubleshooting and identify processes with minor errors.Identify and repair minor machine malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining, and adjust machine controls as required.About Aerotek:We know that finding work is hard, and finding meaningful work is harder.
