We are seeking a Tool Crib Attendant with extensive experience in machine tooling parts. The ideal candidate will handle all tool and tooling requests for production jobs, maintain inventory, and ensure smooth operations in a fast-paced environment.Key Responsibilities:Manage all requests at the crib window.Understand and use all relevant tool terminology.Review and pull tools from setup sheets.Monitor and order perishable tooling as needed.Maintain the computer tracking system for all shop tools and equipment.Assess the quality of tools returned to the crib.Set tools for the machines.Working Requirements:Physical ability to stand, reach, lift (up to 50 lbs.), and concentrate on tasks.Strong computer skills for inventory management and status updates.Investigate tool quality issues and recommend improvements.Ensure compliance with Federal (OSHA), State, and Local safety laws.Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on tools and equipment.Secure diagnostic or repair work from outside facilities if needed.Ability to follow oral and written directives.Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).Other Requirements:Perform any job, task, or function as requested by management.Excellent people skills and in-depth knowledge of manufacturing machine shop tools and fixtures.Job Type:Full-time, 40 hours per week (Monday - Friday).Reliable daily transportation and a proven track record of attendance and punctuality are essential.Must pass a background check required by the customer.Job Benefits:Education and Experience:Minimum of two years in a shop or manufacturing environment.High school diploma.If you are detail-oriented, highly organized, creative, flexible, and a great team player, we encourage you to APPLY TODAY!Details:1st shiftFull-time position 6AM-3PMSalary commensurate with experienceWe are an equal opportunity employer and do not discriminate based on religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran, or disability status.
