We are looking for individuals that are committed to lifelong learning and creating value through their hard work.Job Summary and Essential Job DutiesThe Tool Crib Attendant position assists with all aspects of manufacturing tooling and test plates. Successful candidates perform inventory and stocking under the direction of the Supply Crib Team Leader.Through On the Job Training (OJT), Tool Crib Assistants will:Distribute chemical and paper supply to all manufacturing areasResponsible for tooling including cleaning, storing, and labelingPreparing travelers and pulling tools for jobsOversee the Log in/Log out sheet on all tool storageRestocking foam inserts and traysDelivering ordered items to cellsMixing of Optimax proprietary itemsFinding locations, labeling, logging, and putting away new toolingGeneral Housekeeping and cleaning of the Tool crib areaRestocking shelves and cabinets, as neededAdvancement is attained through increasing levels of education, experience, industrial skills, math skills, computing skills, responsibility and leadership potential, and effectiveness.Education Requirements :A High School Diploma or GED required. Vocational training in manufacturing, carpentry, materials science, machining or similar encouraged but not required.Minimum Requirements:Familiarity with computers including but not limited to Microsoft OfficeAbility to follow directions and attention to detailAbility to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment with good time management skillsGood mental dexterity and decision makingExcellent communication skillsAnalytical troubleshooting/problem-solvingOther Skills and Experience:Empathy and the ability to listen for understandingStrong verbal and written communication skillsExtremely responsive, highly accountable, and solutions-focusedAbility to communicate and work effectively in a diverse team environmentHighly organizedStrong Multi-tasking skillsKnowledge of tooling and measurement equipmentHand-eye coordination and/or manual dexterity are desirable.Compensation and BenefitsOptimax Systems offers highly competitive, total compensation packages linked directly to employee's professional experience.
