AWS/CES is seeking a Tool Crib Attendant for our Automotive Manufacturing client in Blue Springs, MO Location: Blue Springs, MO Schedule: Full time/Temp to Hire Compensation: $70k-$75k DOE Responsibilities: Ensure high level of supplier quality performance and take appropriate action for corrections with Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer and reach the Parts Per Million (PPM) targets. Recharge justified non quality cost due to suppliers reporting of PPM and metrics; Define opportunities for cost reduction, validate them with Commodity teams and implement them. All actions have to e registered in Productivity Action Plan (PAP) system. Report purchasing indexes and Profit & Loss effects; Work closely with the Supply Chain team to support supplier deviation in Mis deliveries Per Million (MPM); Propose parts to be relocated to low cost countries to the commodity buyer/manager; Be involved in the supplier selection and kick off in program phase to prepare the start of production; Maintain plant vendor list - updated and in line with Commodity strategy. Propose and contribute to downsizing; Monitor all relevant suppliers and parts information and ensure proper ordering, invoicing and cost control; Inform Commodity teams in case of major volume changes. Validate plant QCD information sent to the Group; Prioritize local resolution of issues but escalate to the Division level or Commodity Buyers team when needed Non-Production purchasing: Apply Group purchasing policy/contracts and negotiate specific local requirements; Support commitments established in the ISO 14001 Environmental Policy; Qualifications: High School Diploma Required Experience in production in an industrial environment (minimum 1 year) Minimum basic skills in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook) Please submit your resume to ...@canadianexecutivesearch.com .
