Schneider Electric is seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our team as a Tool & Die Maker A at our Cedar Rapids facility. This role is pivotal in supporting our production operations and demands a proactive, adaptable, and safety-focused approach to thrive in our dynamic and fast-paced environment. Collaboration with diverse teams is essential, and the ability to maintain professionalism under pressure is a must.What will you do?As a Tool & Die Maker A, your responsibilities will include machining and fabricating parts and assemblies from prints or CAD models in a timely, safe, and precise manner. You will also be tasked with reverse engineering and fabricating broken or damaged parts from samples, leveraging your expertise in utilizing CNC mill and lathe, wire EDM, and manual machine tools, as well as fabrication and welding equipment.What's in it for you?

  • Starting pay $40.04/hour + $2/hour shift differential

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?The ideal candidate will possess an associate's degree in CNC or Tool and Die, coupled with a proven track record in CNC programming, CNC operations, manual machining, and welding.
