Location: Austin,TX, USA
The successful candidate will have a minimum (4) years' experience in High Pressure Diecasting, performing routine die maintenance, weld repair, complete die tear downs and rebuilds. You will have the mind set and drive to continually improve the quality of work, speed, and efficiency at which the work is accomplish, you are very meticulous and hardworking, used to working to dead- lines and schedules. You know what needs to be done and you know how to do it.
* You will participate in the disassembly and re-assembly of the Cast dies, ensuring a complete and accurate, fully functioning die
* Verify the target standards are met, die is fully Spotted and Blued in
* Slides and Ejection are functioning per standard, and have proper free running fit
* Test and verify water lines are flowing and leak free
* Working to the scheduled delivery
* 4 years' experience in die maintenance, high pressure diecasting
* 4 years experience in full tear down and rebuilds of Diecast dies
* 4 years experience in final Die spotting
* 4 years experience in Die Cooling Water flow and leak checks, and repair
* Proficient in Die polishing
* Proficient in Tig welding, knowelable in proper pre-heat and weld materials
* Experience working with larger, multi-slide, Diecast Dies, preferred
