The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and repairing tools, molds, and dies, and will play a critical role in maintaining the quality and efficiency of our manufacturing processes. This is an excellent opportunity to apply your skills and experience in a challenging and rewarding environment.Responsibilities:
  • Design, create, repair, and maintain tools, molds, and dies using CAM and EDM techniques.
  • Interpret technical drawings and specifications to understand the requirements for each tool or mold.
  • Perform precision measurements using micrometers and calipers to ensure that tools and molds meet exact specifications.
  • Operate and maintain lathe and other machinery used in tool and dye making.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to tool and mold performance.
  • Collaborate with other team members to improve manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.
  • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with ISO 9001 quality management standards.
  • Continually update knowledge and skills to keep up with advances in tool and dye making technology.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Tool & Dye Maker in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proven expertise in tool and dye making, mold design, CAM, and EDM.
  • Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and lathe.
  • Solid understanding of ISO 9001 quality management standards.
  • Strong technical drawing interpretation skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certification or degree preferred.
