Edwards, Inc. is a full-service industrial general contractor providing construction, fabrication, and crane services. We are currently seeking a Tool Room Attendant in Spring Hope, NC. This is a full time position with the schedule of 11:30am - 8:00pm.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and tire rotations as well as repairs on vehicles.
- Inspect vehicles to diagnose mechanical and electrical issues accurately.
- Be able to diagnose codes vehicles may be giving and resolve the issues.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidates Should Have:
Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
- Continually walk/stand on surfaces which may be even/uneven, stable/unstable, and varying compositions.
- The ability to routinely lift in-excess of 50 pounds on a continual basis.
- Be able to work long periods of time including evenings and weekends when necessary.
Essential Requirements & Skills:
- Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of working knowledge of
- Pipe, valves, and fittings
- Welding tools and supplies
- Associated tools for mechanical and electrical application
- Excellent communication skills and commitment to safety
- Ability to follow directions.
- Additional Skills
- Valid Driver's License
- Clean Driving Record.
- Experience with MS Windows Software
- HS Diploma or Equivalent (Preferred)
