Join Our Team as a Tool Room Machinist! Are you an experienced machinist with a passion for precision and craftsmanship? We're looking for a skilled Tool Room Machinist to join our team in a full-time position! Bring your 10-15 years of experience to an innovative environment where you'll create, repair, and maintain crucial tooling and fixtures to help produce high-quality products.

Position: Tool Room Machinist Department: Tool Room Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM

What You'll Do:

+ Machine & Build: Work with CNCs, machining centers, and Mastercam to craft fixtures and devices that support our product's finishing process.

+ Build New Dies: Create new forming and sizing dies (elbow-cap-reducer forming) essential to our production process.

+ Repair & Maintenance: Ensure tools are in optimal condition and address repairs at our worksite press.

+ Order Tools & Materials: Manage perishable tool orders and select alloy/tool steels for specific projects.

+ Operate Forklift: Occasionally drive the forklift for internal logistics.

Equipment You'll Work With:

+ Bridgeports

+ Manual Lathes

+ Radial Arm Drills

+ Okuma

+ Jig Mill, Drill Presses, Hardness Tester, Surface Grinder, and more

What You Bring:

+ Experience: 10-15 years in machining, with 3-5 years of turning, milling set-up, and Mastercam.

+ Skills: CNC knowledge, including Fanuc and Mazak controls, ability to read blueprints, and expertise in tool steels and heat treatment limits.

+ Reliability & Communication: Dependable, with communication skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS & DUTIES BREAKDOWN:

Importance

% Of time Ranking Duty/Responsibility

30% 1 Machine & build fixtures and devices that hold & cradle our product for finish

machining various operations. Set up/Operate CNC's & Machining Centers via

Mastercam. Work on Production parts.

30% 2 Build new forming and sizing dies to produce our products (elbow-cap-

reducer forming)

35% 3 Repair and maintain all tools. Assure flow of production and repair

at worksite press

2% 4 Order perishable tools used in tool room

2% 5 Order alloy and or tool steels per specs

1% 6 Drive Forklift

The essential functions of this role include:

+ wearing steel toe shoes

+ manual lifting up to 40lbs

+ standing for 6 hours at one time

+ working up to 5 hrs of overtime per week
