Description:Tool RunnerOur full time Tool Runner is responsible for going to pick-up/purchase required parts for shop projects, researching/ordering parts requested by the shop, and for helping to clean and organize the shop and tools/inventory/parts.ResponsibilitiesSafely drive to pick-up and purchase parts and deliver back to the shop in a timely and organized mannerResearching/order parts requested by the shopClean and organize the shop and tools/inventory/partsAssist in whatever capacity is needed to help get the job doneMaintain our premises so they are attractive, functional, and safePerform miscellaneous tasks as assigned by managementWilling and able to pivot to doing different tasks throughout the dayEffectively accomplish job tasks without needing direct supervision on all mattersMaintain, clean, organize equipment and tools to ensure they are always kept in a safe and usable condition.Put all tools/equipment back where they belong and organize on a daily basis.Skills & Experience:Shop experience (1+ years)Parts experience (1+ years)Driving experience (2+ years)Valid Drivers licensePositive attitude and interest in being part of an awesome teamSafely drive and operate company vehicles and equipmentExperience in fueling equipment and conducting preventative maintenanceGood problem-solving skillsA desire to learn and growAttention to detailKnowledge of computers and websites and tools like Gmail, Google, Google Sheets/DocsEffective collaboration and communication skillsWilling and able to work in a fast-paced environment and to change tasks quicklyExperience in the refrigeration equipment field isn't required but would be a benefitBi-Lingual (Spanish/English) is preferred, but not requiredThis Job Is Ideal for Someone with the below qualities:Great Attitude -- love your job, are helpful and fun to work withDependable -- more reliable than spontaneousAdaptable/Flexible -- enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in directionHigh Stress Tolerance -- thrives in a high-pressure environmentWork EnvironmentThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
