Tooling and Facilities ManagerResponsiblefor overseeing and managing the tooling department, as well as overseeing allMP Systems Facilities & the maintenance of those facilities. Provideleadership and guidance to the Tool Department, take charge of challengingprojects, encourage teamwork, and supply the energy and enthusiasm required toachieve company goals and objectives. Oversee the entire tool purchasingprocess including budget, process improvements, and vendor relationships.Conduct business in accordance with PPC and MP Systems, Inc.'s mission andvision statements. Responsibility:
- Oversee the tooling compliance program andensure that all compliance standards are met at the proper level ofinspection on the correct timetable.
- Responsible for complete tooling inventoryconducted on an annual basis.
- Oversee the proper use of the tooling programto track, assign and log issues with tooling.
- Manage all employees in the toolingdepartment.
- Assist Division Managers to help them staywithin budget for tooling by price checking and supply accurate toolinginventories to make informed decisions on purchases.
- Oversee approvals on all tooling purchases.
- Work with tooling vendors to establish volumepricing with excellent service.
- Responsible for overseeing all MP SystemsFacilities and their maintenance including scheduled maintenance such ascleaning, rug contracts and all other required facilities upkeep includingbut not limited to: Security systems, Camera systems, Gates / Fencing, Building lighting External and internal /Parking lot, Septic systems,HVAC, snow and Ice removal, Lawn Services, any annual inspection or testing of systems inthe buildings, Phone systems, Utilities, Facility Keys and Badges.
- Managing renovations, refurbishments andadditions to MP Systems Buildings.
- Assist with Budgeting needs for the entirecompany for tooling and buildings.
- Manage the building budget.
- Responsible for the MP systems officefurniture for condition and replacements as well as new purchases.
- Readindustry publications to stay knowledgeable of new technologies and bestpractices
- Assessown development needs and plan with your supervisor for incorporation intoyour development plan.
- Participate in employee continuingeducation in house or through outside programs.Achieve the minimum required hours perlevel.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma required.
- 5-10 years related experience.Experience working with budgets.
- Experience and knowledge with industry relatedtooling.
- Valid Driver's License Required.
- Priorexperience in facilities management.
- Advanced computer/technical skillsincluding experience with Microsoft Office programs.Enthusiasm for training in othersoftware applications as needed
