The Royal Group, an affiliate of Schwarz Partners, is currently seeking a Tooling Coordinator for our Seymour, IN facility. As a Tooling Coordinator, you will be responsible for all activities associated with running the plate room including setup, operation, cleanup, and recommendation of improvements.At The Royal Group, we are committed to our employees. We continually seek the best people combined with the most innovative software, machinery, and technology the industry has to offer.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS FOR THIS POSITION:Locate materials before the start of a run and deliver safely and on timeMaintain adequate inventory of supplies and inform purchasing of needed materialsRegular and predictable attendanceHelp in production and assembly areas as neededCross train in other areas and switch duties as neededTurn in maintenance work orders to supervision for needed repairs; be proactive in the maintenance of equipmentPick up all materials from machines and return to plate room or area after order is completeAttend all plant safety meetingsWash all dirty print plates, remove tape and band typePractice safe work habits at all timesInspect all incoming materials for adherence to specificationsDevelop and maintain a system to monitor inactive materialsInspect all materials before returning to their storage rack for damage or need of repair or replacementComplete all necessary paperwork in an accurate and timely mannerComply with all company policies and procedures, including safety and maintaining good housekeepingAbility to work overtime as the job requiresMake minor repairs to die boards and print platesAdditional duties as assignedREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:High school diploma or equivalentPreferred that employees have prior work experience in the corrugated industry or other 2-4 years' work experienceMay be required to maintain a current Forklift Operator licenseREQUIRED SKILLS & ABILITIES:Ability to apply basic calculations; general high school level math and ability to read a tape measure with speed and accuracyAbility to read and understand manuals, instructions, safety rules, etc.Ability to apply proper understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form.The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 70 lbs: Note any objects over 50 lbs will be recommended to be handled by two membersAS AN INDUSTRY LEADER TRG OFFERS:Year-round employment for job stability and opportunities for growth and career development.Exceptional pay and great, affordable benefits (including life, medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match and more!).Paid holidays, overtime pay, and vacation time.Unlimited opportunities for growth, training, and career advancement.A respectful, empowering, team-oriented and employee-friendly environment.If you would like to be part of a forward-thinking team with a family feel, culture of excellence, and customer-focused reliability, we want you to be a part of our team!All job offers are contingent upon a pre-employment drug test and background check.Our organization is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
