- Design and develop tooling systems for injection molding processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate project requirements and specifications.
- Conduct cost analysis and estimation for tooling projects to ensure budget compliance.
- Utilize CAD software such as SolidWorks and UG for detailed tooling design and modeling.
- Review and interpret blueprints and GD&T specifications to optimize tooling designs.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving tooling issues during production.
- Implement best practices for tooling design to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product quality.
- Maintain accurate documentation of tooling designs and project progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Tooling Engineer or similar role in manufacturing.
- Strong knowledge of tooling design principles and practices.
- Familiarity with injection molding processes and materials.
- Proficient in CAD software, particularly SolidWorks and UG.
- Excellent project management and estimation skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
