The Tooling Engineer Lead will be responsible for managing the development, procurement, and validation of molds, ensuring the use of innovative technologies in mold design, production, and maintenance.Key Responsibilities:
- Tooling Strategy & Project Oversight: Develop and execute tooling strategies to achieve production objectives, and oversee the construction of new tooling projects from inception to completion.
- Tooling Design & Implementation: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize tooling design and implementation; supervise the tooling repair department.
- Continuous Improvement & Quality Assurance: Track tooling performance, identify improvement opportunities, and work with suppliers to uphold quality and dependability.
- Process Optimization: Research and apply advancements in mold repair, maintenance, and new or existing mold construction to enhance performance.
- Cross-Departmental Collaboration: Partner with engineering to ensure that both product and tooling designs align with molding requirements.
