Recruiting Solutions Inc. is seeking experienced and dedicated Tooling Machinists (Levels I, II, and III) for a reputable Plastics Manufacturing company in Orangeburg, SC. Job Title: Tooling Machinist (Levels I, II, and III) Responsible for operating a wide variety of machine tools, setup grinders, lathes, mills and other equipment as required. Support new tooling for new product introductions to ensure the robustness of product builds. Job Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain lathe and milling machines.
  • Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production.
  • Take precise measurements for cutting or shaping materials.
  • Select appropriate machines and settings for each task.
  • Plan the proper sequence of tasks to complete assignments efficiently.
  • Monitor production, adjusting feed and other settings as necessary.
  • Maintain an inventory of completed products and check output for quality assurance.
  • Perform machine maintenance and minor repairs as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and clean workstation.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Required:
    • Excellent coordination and mechanical skills.
    • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and safety.
    • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
    • Proficiency in math and basic computer skills.
    • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform repetitive tasks.
    • Knowledge of safety protocols.
  • Preferred:
    • High school diploma or equivalent.
    • Experience working with machine tools or in mechanical assembly.
    • Apprenticeship or vocational training preferred.
