Tools Assembler - 12B - US - Dayton, OH The Blueprint (Role Profile) The Tools Assembler - 12B will report to the 2nd Shift Supervisor and will be in the UJ department. Working on the second shift, they will receive $.85 shift differential per hour on top of their base pay. Come build your future with us! The Build (Responsibilities) Assemble various machined parts to customer standards. Setup and operate various assembly and fabrication equipment to produce quality parts, while meeting productivity targets set by the Company. Read and interpret engineering product drawings, ensure quality standards through assembly process Complete required quality and production documentation. Use inspection methods such as gauges to ensure parts are to customer standard Maintain work area and equipment in a clean, orderly condition, and follow plant safety rules and policies. The Toolbox (Qualifications) Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to continually stand. The employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms (overhead reaching), push or pull and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts. Strong Problem-solving abilities 2+ years of manufacturing experience.
