Do you have at least two years of torch welding experience? Our client provides container and trailer services to industrial sites and is searching for new talent to join their hard-working team. Advantage Resourcing is hiring an experienced Torch Welder in Dothan, AL. If you are comfortable working from heights and bring the expertise we seek, apply today!

Pay: $14-$17 per hour

1st Shift Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday-Friday

Essential Functions:

• Laying out, cutting, and fitting materials for welding
• Selecting proper equipment (torch, torch tip, filler rod, and flux) to complete jobs
• Measuring the dimensions of parts to be welded
• Performing welding tasks by guiding the torch along the weld line to melt, cut, or trim metal
• Removing excess weld, slag, or spatter with a hand scraper, grinder, or arc-cutting equipment
• Observing welded surfaces for quality and conformance to specifications
• Interpreting blueprints, sketches, and specifications
• Frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds
