Job Description:

We are currently looking to fill a Total Rewards Coordinator position. This position designs, implements and manages human resources programs, practices and activities in the areas of compensation, benefits, disability management, employee health and wellness. Acts as a subject matter expert for the human resources team.

What you'll do:

* Administer and manage employee benefits plans, including but not limited to health, dental, and vision plans, short-term and long-term disability, and leave requests.

* Provide guidance to employees and managers by addressing questions related to benefits and leave.

* Explains employee benefits by conducting meetings, preparing written and graphic announcements, presentations, and explanations, and responding to requests for information

* Manage HSA enrollments and funding, including handling suspended funds and pending accounts. Also manage FSA plans.

* Administer the COBRA process in conjunction with carrier.

* Process invoices, reconciliations, and monthly billing for all benefits. Tracks Total Rewards spend.

* Ensure the accuracy of all benefits enrollments in the HRIS to provide vendors with accurate eligibility information and perform quality checks of benefits-related data.

* Coordinate and communicate with internal and external customers, including agencies and benefit plan administrators

* Assist with special assignments, including data collection and the preparation of various documents related to HR matters.

* Assists with the open enrollment process.

* Identify necessary changes in business processes to ensure efficient and accurate workflow and optimize system capabilities to meet business needs. Collaborate with various departments and vendors to develop and implement improved processes.

* Ensure compliance with Federal and State laws, including, but not limited to, the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability (HIPPA), Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), etc.

* Other duties as assigned.

What you bring:

* Extensive knowledge of employee benefits and applicable laws.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

* Ability to take initiative, work independently, and follow oral and written directions.

* Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in spreadsheets, databases, word processing software, electronic mail, internet search tools, and other applications.

* Ability to interact cooperatively, in a positive and professional manner, with vendors, and co-workers, following Superior policies, HIPAA, and ADA regulations.

* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and mathematical skills, with the ability to research employee benefits issues, prepare and analyze benefits costs, and calculate figures and amounts.

Education and Experience:

Required:

* Associate's degree in HR or a related field; equivalent experience and/or additional training and certification may be considered in place of formal education.

* Minimum of 2 years of hands-on HR work experience, including employee benefits and system administration.

* Experience with COBRA, HIPAA, Paid Family Leave, and FMLA regulations.

* Working knowledge of human resources management principles and practices.

Preferred:

* Experience with Dayforce HRIS software.

* Certification in HR-related accreditation (e.g., CEBS, PHR, SHRM-CP).
