Maintain records and files, prepare reports, perform material and labor estimates, implement comprehensive PM programs for facility equipment including SCADA system.Responsible for the operations and maintenance of the TGCM related gas and chemical distribution equipment. Lead troubleshooting efforts for TGCM equipment. Interface with the fab, facilities and EHS for reporting chemical issues. Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, engineers, in-house staff and others concerning equipment operations and maintenance. Maintain records of outside contractors and maintenance personnel and oversee work by outside contractors as directed.Maintain performance specifications for TGCM related gas and chemical distribution equipment and related support systems; manage spare parts program; as well as, initiate process improvement measures regarding methods, equipment performance, quality of work and train employees in new methods and procedures.20% of time Assist in specifying requirements for new or reconfigured gas/chem equipment. Coordinate the commissioning/decommissioning of TGCM equipment.Train, develop and manage staff. Plan, assign and distribute work orders and work requests. Interpret policies to assigned personnel and enforce safety regulations and adherence to required codes and standards. Promote EHS/ERT training requirements for assigned personnel. Perform employee evaluations and performance plans as necessary.This position is part of the Emergency Response TeamRequirements:MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSCandidates must address in their applications their ability to work with culturally diverse populations. This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background investigation; this position may require annual background investigations.A technical trade degree from college or University with a minimum of 5 years of related to toxic chemicals/ gas work experience and 5 years' supervisory experience of TGCM staff in a facility operations environmentORMinimum of 10 years of TGCM work experience and 5 years' supervisory experience of TGCM in a facility operations environment.Must possess good interpersonal and communications skills, the ability to write clearly and concisely, and proficient use of Microsoft Office, computer maintenance management programs, and other applicable computer programs.Required to wear cleanroom protective equipment and various personal protective equipment (PPE) related to work activities.Must be able to carry and respond to cell phone/emails outside of regularly scheduled work hours.This position is contingent on the satisfactory completion of a background investigation; this position may require annual background investigations.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in major semiconductor manufacturer, a supplier to the semiconductor industry or similar industry, such as specialty gas/equipment supplier, pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturer desired.Additional Information:BenefitsMedical, Vision, and DentalCompetitive Pay and PTOFlexible Heath Spending and Dependent Care AccountsBasic / Optional Life InsurancePost-Retirement Health InsuranceEmployer contribution of 7% of earnings to a Basic Retirement plan after meeting one year of service.Optional employee contributed retirement accountLocation: 257 Fuller Road, Albany, NY 12203Salary Range: $120,000- $140,000*Posted salary ranges are determined upon experience and education.NOTE: Some positions require access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, or restricted programs where U.S. Government authorization may be required.For positions requiring such access, offers of employment are contingent upon the employer being able to obtain the necessary authorization, including, if required, an export license from the U.S. Department of Commerce's Bureau of Industry and Security, the U.S. Department of State's Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, or other government agencies.
