R. J. Corman Railroad Company is seeking a Track Inspector based in Oak Hill, WV.Responsibilities:
- Work in conjunction with the Track Supervisor to install and repair railroad track and complete other projects as needed.
- Operate machinery in order to adequately inspect the track.
- Complete all required documentation.
- Promote a safe work environment.
- Railroad experience preferred.
- Perform tasks associated with track work including but not limited to: pulling and driving spikes, replacing ties, surfacing track, changing rail, bars, and other track apparatus.
Job Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Track Inspector / Foreman.
- Ability to pass railroad safety test and training.
- Ability to communicate well with co-workers, customers, and supervisors.
- Ability to operate power tools.
