Trade Support Analyst will be responsible for developing and implementing process and systems configuration solutions needed to facilitate new business or change in current business. This position will provide the opportunity to work across the Commercial Business Services (CBS) functions, Commercial front office (traders and schedulers), Commercial support groups and Midstream Operations.
Responsibilities May Include: - Applying a comprehensive understanding of systems, service offerings, and enterprise value.
- Performing daily tasks using specific knowledge (mapping, system configuration, gathering information).
- Creating/maintaining system specific data.
- Collaborating with the Commercial front office to understand operational needs of the physical business.
- Using personal discretion and judgment, design system solutions and configuration to support the business operations.
- Translating business requirements into system solutions.
- Being a technical cross functional Subject Matter Expert.
- Creating/maintaining stakeholder relationships and cross functional focus.
- Driving best practices and continuous improvement with a global focus.
- Taking leadership roles when designing, developing, and implementing work processes and projects.
- Performing regression and critical function testing in multiple trade systems, web apps and access databases for new functionality and software releases.
- Collaborating and jointly designing solutions with IT to remedy any issues.
- Developing and delivering system and process training.
- Proactively sharing your knowledge.
- Participating in and executing responsibilities as a member of the Commercial Business Continuity Plan (BCP) team.
- Occasionally working non-standard hours, including weekends and holidays.
Required Qualifications: - Legally authorized to work in the job posting country
- Bachelor's degree
- Proficient in SAP S/4 HANA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
Preferred Qualifications: - 2 or more years of experience in Commercial or a Commercial Support Function
- Highly proficient working with SAP S/4 HANA
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and organization skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written to ensure common understanding
- Business understanding of Commercial operations as well as the downstream value chain
- Ability to manage across multiple tasks or projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to coordinate effectively with many stakeholders across multiple functional areas
