The role

My client has developed a digital asset trading infrastructure catered specifically to institutional investors. Their solution entails an end to end platform that seamlessly integrates with global crypto exchanges, custodians, and liquidity providers, utilising a unified API and a user-friendly web-based application.

They are currently looking for a Trade Support Analyst to join their team in New York. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing customer support and assisting with workflows. Your responsibilities will include providing client insights and feedback to the Product, Engineering, and Quant teams. This feedback will be used to drive product improvements and address any technical challenges that may arise.

Skill & Experience

  • Experience supporting financial trading systems and/or software (OMS/EMS)
  • Knowledge of the full front-to-back trade processing cycle, including pre and post trade
  • Keen interest in blockchain technology and cryptocurrency
  • Willingness to learn about Algo execution and valuation / risk representation
  • A strong team player with the capacity to function effectively under pressure
  • Must be willing to dive into hands-on tasks, including reconciliation of large datasets
  • Interest in Product and Engineering
  • Previous experience in a similar position would be highly desirable
  • Experience with other asset classes advantageous
  • SQL / Python (Desirable)

Responsibilities

  • Assist customers by investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving their issues through live chat and email support.
  • Manage, prioritise, and respond to inquiries related to Execution and Risk representation, providing timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Support clients with P&L, Trade Activity, Position management and Risk reconciliation
  • Engage in the testing and verification of new EMS and PMS functionalities, encompassing algorithm testing and the validation of risk representation, to maintain and enhance product quality.
  • Build and manage relationships with clients, ensuring a seamless onboarding experience
  • Interact with clients and work together with third parties and partners as needed to provide feedback on their products and services.
  • Provide client insights and feedback to Product, Engineering, and Quant teams to drive product improvements and address technical challenges
  • Initiate and implement impactful improvements in support workflows, policies, and tools to optimise customer service delivery.
