Trade Support Specialist, Hedge Fund (Consulting role: 3-6 months)
Our client, an established and reputable hedge fund in Midtown, NY, is looking for a Trade Support Analyst to join their Operations team! This person will be responsible for cash and position reconciliations, resolving position breaks, and ensuring alignment with compliance objectives.
In this role, you will have a variety of responsibilities and will lead various initiatives, including:
- Conduct reviews of historical trades to ensure adherence to credit compliance regulations and standards.
- Use data gathering techniques, including capturing time stamps, to compile comprehensive records of trading activities. This involves navigating through manual trades lacking time stamps.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports to regulatory bodies, ensuring full compliance with mandated reporting requirements.
- Facilitate the smooth execution of trade entry processes, recording pertinent details to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Oversee trade settlement procedures to guarantee timely and accurate completion of transactions in accordance with established protocols.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation of all compliance-related activities.
- Work closely with trading desks, legal, and risk management, to ensure alignment with compliance objectives and foster a culture of compliance throughout the organization.
This role is in-office in midtown NYC 5x per week.
This is a fixed term consulting engagement expected to last between 3-6 months.
