Performs similar assistance in several of the trades; uses standard tools and equipment of the trades if needed. Uses standard tools and equipment of the tradesOperates trucks to and from jobs and in running errands for skilled workers; cleans and cares for tools and equipment. Performs independently the more routine tasks in making building, HVAC and mechanical repairs in accordance with instructions. Typical QualificationsEducation and Experience Any combination of education and experience equivalent to graduation from high school and some experience within the area of HVAC; preference will be shown to those possessing a vocational, trades school or technical school diploma in the HVAC installation and maintenance trade field.Must possess or be able to obtain an EPA Section 608 Certification Card within 6 months of employment.Physical Requirements Must be able to lift or move up to 100 lbs. and maneuver within a 1 mile area; must be able to crawl, climb and work with small and large objects.
