Innova Solutions is immediately hiring for a Trading Support .Position Type: Full-Time ContractDuration: 12+ monthsLocation: New York, NY (Onsite role in Hybrid Model - 3 days onsite in a week)As an, Trading Support you will:Job Description:First point of contact for end business users in RatesOwnership and delivery of on-boarding support of or processes into the MAPS organizationBuild and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contactsMonitoring and alerting of critical trading system environmentsTroubleshooting of complex systems issuesProactive identification and resolution of problem hotspotsDevelopment of tools and driving efficiency/stability improvementsAccurate tracking of support effort to enable effective management reportingRelease implementation and enforcement of change management policyMajor Incident management and Problem ManagementThe suite of applications we support covers many different functional aspects of the business, including pricing and trade capture, risk generation and aggregation, market, and reference data.The role will give the successful candidate exposure to the full front-to-back process from trade inception to feeding risk downstream. This is also an opportunity to work in a global team.The core set of technical skills that are beneficial in the role are:Operating systems: Linux primarilyITIL Certification or performed in a role that demonstrates application of the principlesScripting languages: Unix Shell, PythonSQL (intermediate level: multi-table joins, grouping results, stored procedures)Grid computing (e.g., Data Synapse), job scheduling (Autosys, Crontab) batch managementWell-rounded understanding of infrastructure disciplines (network, server, storage, messaging)Enterprise Monitoring - ITRS GenerosDocumentation (Confluence)Experience with trading risk systemsFamiliarity with Bloomberg and ReutersPersonal Skills - must be resilient and confident working in a high-pressure FO trading environment. Excellent communication skills essential. Leadership.Required:Product knowledge - Rates SME, geeks PV, Delta, Gamma and derivatives risk, Government Bonds, Agencies, Futures, Swaps, Inflation-linked products, US Treasuries and BillsMarket data - yield curves, funding curves, volatility / correlation surfaces (general understanding / familiarity)Nice to haveBroadway, LIST, Valantic experienceFamiliarity or basic coding knowledge of Python, .NET, or Java applicationsAwareness of MiFid2 and its impact on pre-tradeFIX protocolQualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
